Bài mẫu dạng bài Meeting places IELTS Speaking Part 1

  • Where is your favorite place to meet your friends?

Trả lời 1: In my hometown, there is an old café that is my favorite spot to hang out with friends. It’s a lively café that consistently provides cuisine and service that exceeds expectations. They have a very diverse cuisine. We chat, eat, and sit together all at the same time.

Trả lời 2: Cafes and restaurants are among the numerous establishments where that are well-known. According to the circumstances, I feel comfortable seeing my buddy at the ideal location even if we need to talk and have a discussion about a serious subject over a great lunch and cup of coffee. Along with discussing politics, my friends and I occasionally get together in parks to engage in crazy play activities.

Trả lời 3: That would definitely be my house or theirs. Every time we get together, we generally pitch in and throw a party because, well, it’s more convenient that way. However, I have to confess that we all have busy schedules, so spending time together is truly a privilege.

Trả lời 4: Without a doubt, any Italian restaurant. My friends and I love Italian cuisine so from time to time we visit that kind of restaurant and devour our favorite dishes while catching up. We normally see each other at least twice a month since most of us are kind of busy with our personal and professional lives.

Trả lời 5: Well, I don’t think we have one particular place where we love hanging out. We can meet anywhere else and have fun. It may be at a restaurant, a bar, a park, or even an amusement park. I believe we care more about our bonding than the meeting place.

  • Do you think there are some places more suitable for meeting with others?

Trả lời 1: Yes, definitely! Most of the time a restaurant, a cafe, a function room in a hotel, and even a park are the common places that I can say are suitable to meet with other people. However, one must know the right place to choose from depending on the type of person he has to meet. Of course, he can’t meet up with a business person at a park nearby because that would be inappropriate.

Trả lời 2: Of course and that really depends on the type of event. If it’s something formal, especially if it has something to do with business, then a formal restaurant or a function room in a hotel would be best. However, if it’s not, I think any type of restaurant or cafe will do, most especially, if one is just meeting up with his closest friends.

Trả lời 3: Absolutely. However, I believe that a lot relies on the nature of the encounter. A formal restaurant or event space in a hotel would be ideal if it’s formal, such if it has to do with business. If not, though, I believe any kind of café or restaurant will work, particularly if someone is simply hanging out with their closest pals.

Trả lời 4: Absolutely. But it depends.
I mean, for those who are very sensitive, as I mentioned, public places are more suitable. But for those who are very gregarious and extrovert, they don’t care where to meet. I mean the location doesn’t matter that much to them.

  • Are there any differences between your favorite meeting places in the present and in your childhood?

Trả lời 1: Yes, the locations of the past and present differ from one another; in kindergarten, for example, they were very different. In the past, I liked to meet up with my friends in parks where we would play sports and have captivating conversations. However, in the present, I find that my busy schedule dictates that I meet up with my friends in restaurants or cafes where we can enjoy a cup of coffee while chatting.

Trả lời 2: Although as a youngster I found places like public parks and large boisterous venues intriguing, as an adult I prefer more comfortable and peaceful environments. My current favorites are those tiny cafés that focus on providing coffee and sweets and have a tiny, uncomplicated eating area.

Trả lời 3: Public parks and large, raucous venues were popular hangouts for many people when I was younger, but these days, many choose more sedate environments. My current favorite tiny coffee shops are those that have a small dining area and specialize in providing coffee and pastries.

  • Why are some meeting places better than others?

Trả lời 1: They all have a lot of roots and noise in the city, so I believe meeting places should be justified based on the location. They prefer to meet in a place where there isn’t any noise, which helps them focus on the meeting and also allows them to share some words. I believe these are some rather unique and different places that they like to meet up.

Trả lời 2: Well, I think that’s simply because of the ambiance. Some meeting places are homey (pleasantly comfortable and cozy) which lightens the mood of the visitors. Most of the time, people want a place where they can relax after a very long day or after working on a stressful project. So, these things are what’s on the mind of the owners they want their visitors to forget about their work or any problem they have at work or at home.

Trả lời 3: Some places, in my opinion, just have an atmosphere that makes talking easier. Nobody would want to meet in a dreary, uninteresting place, I believe. Foods, drinks, and services must also be considered somewhat significant.

Trả lời 4:  I think that’s because of the place itself. I mean, the place is so welcoming to visitors. Not only that, the food and drinks are exceptional, and the customer service is beyond compare. People love going to these types of places every now and again because they want the experience of the place which others can’t provide.
